Last weekend we went to Garmisch, Germany and stayed at Edelweiss Lodge. We had a fabulous time. We thought we would get away and celebrate our birthdays. The kids did great with traveling, which made it so much easier on us. On Sunday we went to the Neuschwanstein Castle. It is also known as the Disney Castle. We took a horse and carriage up to the top for our tour. Morgan was quite confused as to where the king was, especially since it was his castle and we saw his bed. Tyler hung out in his backpack for 2 1/2 hours and loved every minute of it. He really liked yelling in the castle to hear his echo. Back at the lodge we did a lot of swimming. If you ask Morgan, I'm sure she would say this was her favorite part of the trip. It only took her a couple of minutes to remember how to swim. Tyler on the otherhand wasn't so sure about the "big" chilly pool of water. He attempted to protest, but after 5 minutes he was splashing and blowing bubbles in the water.
I added a new album of pictures from our trip. I'm hoping to keep up with blogging over the next month. We have more birthdays and lots of traveling.
Hugs to you all!!
